Going Blonde Instruction

Reminder: Do it at your own risk. Check if you have any allergy reactions before you proceed. This whole process is bleaching only. I have no information about dyeing blonde. Good luck.

As one-time bleaching is not adequate, you may have to avoid using any heating appliances such as hair straightener and hairdryer, and, you are advised to condition your hair religiously every shower so you can do the next bleaching cycle ONE week after the first cycle. It is definitely going to take more than one bleaching cycle, also depending on how dark your hair is.

1) No hair spray or chemicals on your hair for 24 hours before bleaching.
2) Bleach evenly. I recommend Clairol's Born Blonde Maxi. Follow all instructions in the box. After bleaching, hair feels very dry. This is very normal.
3) After shampoo, ALWAYS condition hair to restore softness. Leave in the conditioner about 5 minutes or more. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP.
4) Air dry only. Avoid heating appliance.

At this point of time, hair color appears rusty or in my opinion, weird.

A week later, repeat the cycle 1-4. It should go blonder. If not do the cycle again in TWO weeks. Too much strain to the hair may cause hair to break.

And once you've achieved your blonde, keep bleaching the roots every 2-3 weeks to maintain the sexy blonde look.

Good luck, ladies!
